GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need an account or a wallet?

You do not need an email account to join. The creator may still require contact details in the joining form.

XMR prizes require a Monero payout address. A creator reward does not require a wallet just to join; buying entries with XMR may require a refund address. Use only a public address — never a seed or private key.

How do Free, Pay and Mine work?
  • Free: claim one free entry per participant profile when offered.
  • Pay: create an invoice, then send its exact XMR amount before the deadline. Entries follow the required confirmations and wallet unlock.
  • Mine: give explicit consent, then start. Entries depend on the campaign’s published work or mining-credit requirements. Mining uses electricity, battery and device resources; income and completion time are not guaranteed.

The choice buttons do not claim entries, create payments or start mining by themselves. Entry caps and eligibility apply.

Why did joining not give me an entry?

Joining creates your participant profile and private receipt. It does not automatically claim a free entry, pay an invoice or start mining.

Choose an available entry method and complete its next step. Check Activity for issued entries; a pending payment, mining estimate or selected option is not an entry.

What can I win?

Creator reward

Merch, access or an experience. The creator delivers it and explains how to claim.

Fixed XMR prize

The prize is funded before entries open. XMR payouts follow the draw and wallet checks.

Growing XMR prize

A published percentage of credited paid and mined entry costs builds the prize. It can be zero. Payouts require confirmed wallet funds; mining credit alone is not spendable XMR.

What is my private receipt, and how do I recover access?

Your private receipt is your way back to your participant profile, entries, invoices and results. Save it after joining, keep it private and use Restore receipt when needed.

An email account is optional. Linking your entry profile to a verified account gives you another way to recover access. A public wallet address alone cannot restore a private receipt. If you lose both your receipt and access to a linked account, recovery is not guaranteed.

Why is my payment still pending?

An invoice needs the exact XMR amount, sent to its own address before its deadline. The wallet must detect the transfer and wait for the campaign’s required confirmations and unlock before issuing entries.

Keep the invoice open or return through your receipt to check its status. Do not send a second full payment just because confirmation is taking time. Partial, late or excess payments follow the campaign’s payment and refund rules.

Can I get a refund if a campaign closes or is cancelled?

Refunds depend on the campaign type, published rules and payment status. Do not assume that every cancellation or missed target returns every contribution. For content-only campaigns, confirmed support stays with the creator when an unlock threshold is not reached.

Check your invoice and campaign status for any eligible refund. Network fees, minimum refund amounts and wallet review can affect delivery. Mining credit has no cash-redemption or refund promise.

How do content rewards unlock, and can access expire?

Personal rewards unlock when your issued entries reach their threshold. Community rewards unlock for participants with at least one issued entry once the campaign reaches its shared target, including later qualifying participants. Unlocking does not consume your entries.

Pending invoices, hash counters and forecasts do not count. Check each reward’s expiry and format before joining: an expiry starts when access is earned. External providers and hosting availability can also affect access.

How do referral bonus entries work?

Use your own sharing link when the campaign offers a referral program. A visit or invitation alone does not earn a bonus: the referred participant must obtain a first qualifying entry under the published rules.

Bonus levels, caps, participant limits and remaining campaign capacity apply. Free and referral entries do not add money to a growing prize pool, even when they count toward its entry target.

Why am I mining without receiving an entry yet?

For pool-credit campaigns, entries use actual confirmed XMR credit reported by the pool. Local hashes, accepted shares and the time estimate do not issue entries on their own. Credit can arrive after shares are accepted, and a small balance may not reach the entry price.

Read the displayed progress and campaign rules. CPU and GPU rates can use different algorithms and should not be compared as equivalent income. Learn how mining credit works.

Can mining continue in the background or after a refresh?

Review the separate CPU and GPU background choices where offered. Browsers and operating systems may slow, suspend or interrupt background work. Keep screen awake is a separate foreground setting and cannot guarantee background mining.

Refreshing or reopening the website does not automatically resume mining. Review your settings and select Start or Resume again. Recorded entries and confirmed credit remain separate from this device’s live counters.

What does the supporter extension do?

The optional desktop supporter extension provides independently consented campaign mining and community updates. Installation, account connection and mining consent are separate from a website session.

Installing or connecting it does not replace your campaign’s eligibility or entry rules. Review supported browsers, setup steps and current limits on the extension page.

When is the draw, and how are winners chosen?

Each raffle closes by time, entry goal, or a combination of both. Follow the closing rule shown on its page; an unmet required goal or no eligible entries can cancel the draw.

Pending reserved payments settle before the entry list is locked. In live raffles, a future Monero block supplies draw randomness. Each ticket has equal weight, and selected winners are distinct participants. The operator and blockchain remain trust assumptions. Content-only campaigns complete without a draw.

Read the campaign’s Rules for its exact reward, eligibility, entry limits, delivery and refunds. The operator controls the payment wallet; this is not trustless escrow.

Who can see my details, and can I remove them?

Review the campaign’s privacy notice and requested fields before joining. Your private receipt and participant contact details are not published in search previews. Authorized organizers and administrators may need contact information to operate the campaign or deliver a reward.

Removing contact details does not erase required entry and payment records, and it may prevent delivery of a manual reward. Website visit analytics can be controlled through Settings & info; required records and mining hashrates are separate.

Where do I check eligibility or get help?

Participation is for adults aged 18 and over, and each campaign can set additional eligibility rules, entry limits and claiming requirements. Read them before committing support.

For organizer-delivered rewards, check the campaign’s published contact or social links. For platform, payment, account or privacy questions, contact XMRFuel with the public campaign URL and a description of the issue. Keep private receipts and wallet secrets out of your message.

BEFORE YOU LAUNCH

Frequently asked questions.

What can I choose for my campaign?

Set the reward, image, entry choices, winner count, closing rule, entry limits and player form. Free, paid and mining entries can sit alongside one another; enable only the methods you want to offer.

Set clear eligibility, privacy and claiming instructions. Creator rewards need a way to contact winners or instructions for claiming through their private receipt.

Can I explore campaign setup before signing in?

Yes. You can explore templates and campaign settings as a guest. Sign-in is required to upload files, submit a campaign or manage saved campaigns.

After successful sign-in, your guest setup can be restored for you to review. It is not automatically submitted. Check the complete draft and funding quote before continuing.

Should I choose a raffle, content rewards, or both?

A raffle gives participants a chance to win the published prize. A content-only campaign unlocks rewards at personal or community entry thresholds and completes without selecting winners. A hybrid campaign combines both.

Content thresholds are conditions of access, not a promise that every supporter will unlock everything. Make the thresholds and expiry clear; confirmed support in a content-only campaign stays with the creator if a threshold is not reached.

When can I edit my draft?

Use Edit draft in the studio or campaign before sending funding. Saving keeps the same campaign and funding address, and recalculates the funding quote.

Any detected payment locks draft details, including a partial or unconfirmed payment. Published entry and funding rules also stay locked. If another window saves first, reload the current draft before trying again.

What happens when I fund it?

Review the current funding total, including applicable creator fees and the network reserve, before sending XMR. Fixed XMR prizes need prize backing; manually delivered rewards can still require publication fees and reserves.

Entries open only after the required funding confirms and unlocks. The entry clock starts then. If a payment is pending or partially received, check its status and remaining amount — do not send a second full payment.

Which fees and reserves are included?

The Review step shows the applicable platform commission, optional featured-listing fee, prize funding and network reserve separately. Rates and fee bases depend on the campaign and current configuration; use the quoted amounts rather than an example calculation.

A coupon may discount eligible publication fees, but it does not fund a prize or remove network reserves. The reserve is a budget for transaction fees, not a prediction of the exact fee or a guaranteed return.

How do I get listed in Explore?

Explore shows featured campaigns. You can request the optional featured listing during setup and review its separate fee before funding. A direct campaign link can still be shared without a featured listing.

Publication and feature visibility depend on the current funding and moderation state. A paid listing does not guarantee traffic, participation or a completed entry target.

How should I set referral rewards and entry limits?

Choose the direct and additional referral levels you want to offer, then set a referral cap and participant limits. Bonuses depend on the referred participant’s first qualifying entry and available capacity; invitations alone do not create tickets.

Use the campaign calculator to test a mix of paid, mined, free and referral entries. Free and referral tickets add no revenue, so they can reduce the amount available to an entry-funded prize.

Which content can I offer, and how do thresholds work?

Supported rewards include private downloads, audio, video, HTML5 experiences and external embeds, where hosting is available. Give each reward a clear title, preview, personal or community entry threshold and optional access expiry.

All issued entries count without being consumed. Community unlocks require at least one issued entry per participant. Only upload or embed content you have the right to share, and check the actual experience before publishing.

Does a content unlock stop files or links being shared?

Private delivery checks whether a participant has earned access. It is not digital rights management: a downloaded file cannot be recalled, and an external link can be shared once revealed.

External providers control their own availability and policies. No scheduled expiry means no configured access deadline; it is not a promise of perpetual hosting.

Is the potential growing prize already funded?

No. A full-target estimate is conditional on the remaining entries contributing the assumed amounts. Free entries, referral bonuses, incomplete participation and changing mining conditions can lower the eventual prize.

The accrued prize, confirmed wallet backing and network reserves are separate figures. Mining pool credit is not money in the prize wallet; entry-funded payouts still require the corresponding proceeds to be forwarded and confirmed.

What happens after I share the link?

Participants choose an enabled entry method and join. Follow confirmed entries, pending payments, referral results, content access and the draw from your campaign dashboard. Share the public campaign URL; keep private receipts and management links private.

Creating, sharing or editing a draft never sends a reward payment. Campaign analytics and estimated proceeds are information, not a spendable wallet balance.

Who handles prizes, content delivery and interruptions?

You fulfill manually delivered rewards according to your published claiming instructions. For XMR rewards, follow the actual payout status; a selected winner is not proof that the wallet payment has completed.

Earned content remains subject to its expiry, hosting availability and any payment or moderation suspension. If a campaign is paused or needs review, resolve the issue with the operator and communicate through the campaign’s available channels. Opening the dashboard does not resume mining or execute payments.

What should I put in the player form and campaign rules?

Request only the contact details and answers needed for participation or reward delivery. Mark required and optional fields clearly, and explain how the information will be used in the privacy notice.

Publish eligibility, entry limits, closing conditions, reward delivery and relevant refund terms before opening. If something is unclear or you need platform help, contact XMRFuel with the public campaign link.
